After being called from within hypercard, searchreplace puts up a window from which the search and replace text and the search parameter can be specified, and from which the search and replace functions can be carried out.
The search string is typed in the upper edit box. This string is hereafter called the find what string; the replace string, hereafter called the replace with string is in the lower one. The find whole button is used to specify the search parameter. Below this are two buttons for conducting the actual and replace functions. Additonal functions are accessed from a hierarchical pop-up menu. When done, return to hypercard by clicking in the windowΓÇÖs go-away box, choosing Quit from the pop-up menu or typing command-Q.
